Eligibility for Association Membership:
(a) General Member: All alumni who have received a Bachelor degree from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, can become general members of the association by paying the prescribed annual fee.
(b) Life Member: All alumni who have received a Bachelor degree from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, can become lifetime members of the association by paying the prescribed one-time fee.
(c) Associate Member: Those who have received a Master or Doctoal degree from Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, or who are/were teachers of the university, can become associate members by paying the prescribed fee.
(d) Donor Member: General, lifetime, associate members, or any national or international individual or organization can be honored as donor members by paying the prescribed fee.
Membership Fees:
The membership fees for the association are as follows:
(a) General Member - Annual fee of BDT 305 (BDT 5 cash-out fee included).
(b) Life Member - One-time fee of BDT 3,060 (BDT 60 cash-out fee included).
(c) Associate Member - One-time fee of BDT 10,200 (BDT 200 cash-out fee included).
(d) Donor Member - One-time fee of BDT 51,000 (BDT 1,000 cash-out fee included).
Cancellation/Suspension of Membership:
- If a member wishes to withdraw their membership voluntarily, they can do so by submitting a written application to the Executive Committee.
- If any member engages in activities that are contrary to the aims, objectives, and interests of the association, violates the association's rules, or tarnishes the reputation of the association, the membership may be temporarily or permanently canceled or suspended with the recommendation of two-thirds of the Executive Committee members and approval from the General Committee.
- Once membership is canceled or temporarily suspended, the authority to reinstate it will lie with the General Committee. The Executive Committee will make the final decision in this regard.
Notes:
- General members will be considered temporary members and will not be allowed to participate in the annual meetings, elections, or voting without paying the annual fee.
- Life members will be considered permanent members and will not have to pay any further annual fees.

অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্য হওয়ার যোগ্যতাঃ
(ক) সাধারণ সদস্যঃ বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, রংপুর থেকে স্নাতক ডিগ্রীপ্রাপ্ত সকল প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থী নির্ধারিত বাৎসরিক
ফি প্রদানের মাধ্যমে অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সাধারণ সদস্য হতে পারবেন।
(খ) আজীবন সদস্যঃ বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, রংপুর থেকে স্নাতক ডিগ্রীপ্রাপ্ত সকল প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থী নির্ধারিত এককালীন ফি প্রদানের মাধ্যমে
অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের আজীবন সদস্য হতে পারবেন।
(গ) সহযোগী সদস্যঃ যারা বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, রংপুর-এর ছাত্র ছিলেন না, কিন্তু বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক হিসেবে কর্মরত আছেন বা ছিলেন, এবং যাঁরা এই
বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে M.Phil বা PhD ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেছেন, তাঁরা সহযোগী সদস্য হতে পারবেন।
(ঘ) দাতা সদস্যঃ সাধারণ, আজীবন, সহযোগী সদস্যরা অথবা যে কোনো জাতীয় বা আন্তর্জাতিক ব্যক্তি বা প্রতিষ্ঠান নির্ধারিত ফি প্রদানের মাধ্যমে দাতা সদস্য হিসেবে
সম্মানিত হবেন।
সদস্য ফিঃ
অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্যদের ফি নিম্নরূপঃ
(ক) সাধারণ সদস্য - বাৎসরিক ৩০৫ টাকা (৫ টাকা ক্যাশ আউট ফি সহ)।
(খ) আজীবন সদস্য - এককালীন ৩,০৬০ টাকা (৬০ টাকা ক্যাশ আউট ফি সহ)।
(গ) সহযোগী সদস্য - এককালীন ১০,২০০ টাকা (২০০ টাকা ক্যাশ আউট ফি সহ)।
(ঘ) দাতা সদস্য - এককালীন ৫১,০০০ টাকা (১,০০০ টাকা ক্যাশ আউট ফি সহ)।
সদস্য পদ বাতিল/সাময়িক স্থগিতঃ
- কোন সদস্য নিজ ইচ্ছায় সদস্য পদ প্রত্যাহার করতে চাইলে তিনি নির্বাহী পর্ষদের নিকট লিখিত আবেদনের মাধ্যমে সদস্য পদ প্রত্যাহার করতে পারবেন।
- কোন সদস্য অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের লক্ষ্য, উদ্দেশ্য ও স্বার্থ বিরোধী কার্যকলাপে লিপ্ত হলে, অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের নিয়ম ভঙ্গ করলে অথবা অ্যাসোসিয়েসনের সুনাম ভঙ্গের কাজ করলে র্কাযনির্বাহী পর্ষদের দুই তৃতীয়াংশ সদস্যের সুপারিশ ও সাধারণ পর্ষদের অনুমোদনক্রমে সদস্য পদ সাময়িক বা স্থায়ী ভাবে বাতিল বা স্থগিত করতে পারবেন।
- একবার সদস্যপদ বাতিল বা সাময়িক ভাবে বাতিল হলে তা পুনর্বহালের ক্ষমতা সাধারণ পর্ষদের থাকবে। এ ব্যপারে র্কাযনির্বাহী পর্ষদ চূড়ান্ত সিদ্ধান্ত নিবেন।
নোটঃ
- সাধারণ সদস্যগণ অস্থায়ী সদস্য হিসাবে বিবেচিত হবেন এবং বাৎসরিক চাঁদা পরিশোধ ব্যতিরেকে বার্ষিক সভা, নির্বাচন বা ভোট প্রদানে অংশগ্রহণ করতে পারবেন না।
- আজীবন সদস্যগণ স্থায়ী সদস্য হিসাবে বিবেচিত হবেন এবং তাঁদের আর কোনো বাৎসরিক চাঁদা দিতে হবে না।
