লক্ষ্য, উদ্দেশ্য ও কার্যাবলীঃ
বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, রংপুর অ্যালামনাই অ্যাসোসিয়েশন একটি সম্পূর্ণ অলাভজনক, অরাজনৈতিক, অসাম্প্রদায়িক, বৈষম্যহীন ও কল্যাণমুখী
প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসাবে নিম্নলিখিত উদ্দেশ্যসমূহ সাধনের লক্ষ্যে পরিচালিত হবেঃ
(ক) বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার মান উন্নয়নে এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়কে জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে উপস্থাপনায় বিশেষভাবে ভূমিকা রাখা।
(খ) বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষার্থীদের লেখাপড়ার সুষ্ঠু পরিবেশ সৃষ্টিতে উৎসাহ প্রদান, উত্তম চরিত্র গঠন ও ব্যক্তিত্ব বিকাশে ভূমিকা রাখা এবং
অধ্যয়নরত শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে বিভিন্ন ধরণের বৃত্তি বা অন্যান্য সহযোগিতামূলক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা।
(গ) বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, রংপুর-এর প্রাক্তন শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে পরিচিতির সুযোগ সৃষ্টির মাধ্যমে সেতুবন্ধন তৈরি করা এবং সবার মধ্যে সহমর্মিতা
ও সহযোগিতার মনোভাব জাগ্রত রাখা।
(ঘ) অ্যাসোসিয়েশন কর্তৃক সমাবেশ, সেমিনার, প্রদর্শনী, বিভিন্ন শিক্ষামূলক প্রতিযোগিতা ও ভ্রমণের আয়োজন করা।
(ঙ) অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সদস্য অথবা তাদের পরিবারের (স্বামী/স্ত্রী/সন্তান) মধ্যে, অথবা বাংলাদেশের নাগরিকদের মধ্যে শিক্ষা, সামাজিক বা স্বাস্থ্যগত
বিপর্যয়ে এগিয়ে আসা; জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ে সমাজের উন্নয়ন ও বিকাশে বিশেষ অবদান রেখেছেন/রাখছেন এমন কৃতিত্ব অর্জনকারী
ব্যক্তি/ব্যক্তিবর্গকে সম্মাননা প্রদানের ব্যবস্থা করা।
(চ) জাতীয় দুর্যোগ এবং দেশ ও সমাজের প্রয়োজনে কাজ করার জন্য একটি কল্যাণ তহবিল গঠন করা এবং তহবিলের অর্থে জনকল্যাণমূলক কাজের
উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করা।
(ছ) জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যায়ের অনুরূপ প্রতিষ্ঠানের সঙ্গে সহযোগিতামূলক কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করা।
(জ) উপর্যুক্ত লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্যসমূহ অর্জনে সহায়ক অন্যান্য কার্যক্রম গ্রহণ করা।
